Abu Thaqar was a terrorist in the Hamas terrorist organization and led numerous terrorist plots against IDF forces and Israeli citizens, while at the same time the terrorist served as a paramedic in the Gaza Strip, exploiting his alleged humanitarian status for terrorist purposes.
According to the investigation's findings, Abu Thakar raided Israeli territory on the morning of October 7 and was directly involved in the kidnapping of Mia Sham from the Mefalsim area.
There she was kidnapped after spending time at the "Nova" party near Kibbutz Re'im. She was shot in the hand before being kidnapped to Gaza.
She was returned to Israel as part of Operation Sky Doors in November 2023.
