Dozens of extremist protesters are blocking the light rail route and traffic lanes at the intersection of Jaffa and Shari Yisrael streets in Jerusalem.
A police officer declared a disturbance and called for the protesters to evacuate the road. Since the rioters did not obey the police officers' instructions, the forces began to evacuate them using force and tear gas, in order to restore order and open the road to the public.
""The Israel Police will allow freedom of expression and protest according to the law. At the same time, we will not allow a blatant violation of public order while harming freedom of movement, and we will act resolutely to restore order.".
