The Ministry of Transportation announced today (Wednesday) the freezing of the project to establish an operational center for the airline Wizz Air in Israel.
The reason: the low-cost giant's continued failure to operate flights to and from Israel.
The Hungarian airline did not operate flights to Israel during the war with Iran, and initially announced that it would resume operations in the country at the end of April. It later postponed its return to early May.
This is apparently due to tensions in the region and the uncertainty surrounding the possibility of continuing the campaign with Iran.
