
Out of a deep commitment to the security of citizens and to improving defense capabilities: the Home Front Command, in cooperation with the Northern Command and the Air Force, completed a professional process to extend the defense time in 49 communities in the Upper, Lower and Central Galilee regions.
As part of the process, a team of experts was established to examine the systems and capabilities, and led a series of operational and technological adjustments.
The change was presented to the heads of authorities by the Home Front Command. The extension of the defense time will go into effect tomorrow (Thursday), at 4:00 PM.
The Home Front Command will continue to examine updating the defense times in additional areas according to operational capacity and conditions.

The extension of the times is intended to enable optimal preparation in times of emergency, thereby strengthening the level of security and protecting the lives of residents.".
