Rehovot: A 9-year-old girl was taken to Kaplan while undergoing CPR after drowning in a bathtub

A 9-year-old girl lost consciousness at her home in Rehovot this afternoon (Tuesday), after drowning in the bathtub.

Rescue forces called to the scene performed advanced CPR on her, and she was evacuated while CPR was being performed to continue receiving treatment at Kaplan Hospital in the city.

Rescue paramedic Assaf Dagami: "When I arrived at the scene, they brought me a 9-year-old girl who was unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing, after the parents said she drowned in the bathtub. Together with MDA paramedics and paramedics, we performed advanced CPR on her, which included massages and providing respiratory assistance, and she was evacuated while CPR continued to the shock room at Kaplan Hospital in the city.""

Yosef Haim Maluka, a paramedic at United Hatzalah: "We were told that she lost consciousness while in the bathtub in her home's shower. We performed prolonged CPR on her and then she was evacuated in critical condition to Kaplan Hospital, where they will examine the circumstances of her loss of consciousness.".

By the grace of God, during the evacuation to the hospital, the pulse returned.

The public is asked to pray for the girl, Satva Bat Tomer, for a full recovery.
