
An 8-year-old girl was evacuated this evening (Saturday night) in serious condition as a result of a fire that broke out in a residential building on Rabbi Yossi Street in the city of Bnei Brak.
The rescue forces called to the scene provided her with medical treatment and she was evacuated in serious condition, with burns all over her body, for further treatment at the hospital.
Paramedics Yossi Rothenstein and Nathaniel Einhorn, who were the first to arrive at the scene, said: "When we arrived at the scene of the incident, we found an 8-year-old girl with third-degree burns all over her body as a result of a fire that broke out in a stairwell in a residential building.
""Together with rescue and MDA medics and paramedics, we provided her with initial medical treatment, and she was evacuated in serious condition to continue receiving medical treatment in the hospital's trauma room.".
Moishe Kreuzer, a paramedic and ambulance driver at the United Hatzalah, and paramedics Lior Zacharia and Mailach Hennig: "This is a girl who was rescued from her smoke-filled home, suffering from breathing problems due to smoke inhalation and burns all over her body.
""We provided her with initial medical aid at the scene and then she was evacuated to a hospital, where at this stage her condition is described as serious. We also provided aid at the scene to two other victims in minor condition.".
