Sergeant Liam Ben Hamo, 19, from Herzliya, a fighter in the 13th Battalion, Golani Brigade, fell in battle in southern Lebanon.
Another IDF soldier was moderately injured in the incident. The soldier was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. His family has been notified.
The incident occurred earlier today when two explosive drones were launched by Hezbollah towards forces of the 7th Brigade Combat Team operating in the Qantara area.

One drone fell near the force, killing the late Liam and injuring his friend. Another drone was neutralized.
