In a global logistics operation, led by the US Department of Defense's procurement mission, the unit of the International Security Transportation Officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the IDF Planning Division, two cargo ships docked at the Ashdod and Haifa ports, carrying thousands of air munitions, land munitions, military trucks, JLTV combat transport vehicles, and a great deal of other equipment.
The equipment was simultaneously loaded onto hundreds of trucks from the Transportation and Transportation Division in the 'Amon' Division and the Technology and Logistics Division in the IDF and transported to IDF bases across the country.
The Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Maj. Gen. Amir Baram, oversaw the large-scale logistical operation at the Ashdod port.
This is the central effort led by the Ministry of Defense to improve readiness for the development of the war. Since the beginning of Operation "Harry's Roar," over 115,600 tons of military equipment have arrived in Israel in 403 flights and 10 landings.
Defense Minister Israel Katz: "The State of Israel is prepared at any moment to act against its enemies - in any arena and wherever necessary. The air and sea transport that is currently expanding strengthens the IDF's capability and its operational superiority. Our job is to ensure that the IDF receives all the necessary means - so that it can once again act with full force against our enemies whenever and wherever necessary. We will continue to strengthen capabilities and ensure that Israel has all the tools to protect its citizens and defeat its enemies.".
The Director General of the Ministry of Defense: "At any given moment, cargo planes and ships are making their way to Israel with thousands of tons of ammunition and weapons. This is part of the Ministry of Defense's strategy to support all of the IDF's needs, both with massive resupply in the immediate term and with improving readiness for a decade of security challenges. The impressive procurement and transportation operation that we have completed will continue and intensify in the coming weeks.".
