
A rapid investigation and intelligence gathering by the Modi'in Illit police station led last night to the arrest of four young men on suspicion of violently assaulting a young man.
Following targeted police activity, following the serious cases of violence across the country involving youth, it was learned during intelligence gathering and tracking activities by the Illit Intelligence Station about a serious case of violence that occurred recently.
In a swift operation and after covert investigative operations, the suspects were arrested for questioning at the police station.
It is suspected that the young suspects, aged 15-17, attacked the victim with severe violence - which included, among other things, causing a cut to his face and making prolonged threats to his life.
The threats caused the victim to flee the Haredi city to a hiding place, fearing further harm.
The suspects were questioned at the Modi'in Illit police station for aggravated violence. At the end of their interrogation, the four were imprisoned and today (Thursday) they will be brought before a court to hear their case.
The investigation into the violence is still ongoing.
