In recent months, the Coast County Fraud Division has been conducting an undercover investigation into suspected Russian stings, conspiracy to commit a crime, and other offenses.

According to the findings of the investigation, the main suspect, a 23-year-old woman from the Kiryat, along with others, contacted the victims, while presenting them with false representations and impersonating representatives of public bodies such as a bank and the police.

During the conversations, they were informed that they had debts to the institutions and, through various tricks, they stole a lot of money from them, including using their credit cards, withdrawing money from ATMs, and more.

After collecting and locating the victims, while collecting their testimonies in an orderly manner and carrying out advanced investigative actions, the investigation moved from the covert to the overt, and two weeks ago, the party's investigators raided the homes of the main suspect and two other suspects, a mother and son aged 69 and 45, residents of the Krayot, and detained them for questioning, at the end of which they were imprisoned. Their detention has been extended from time to time, and an indictment is expected against them in the coming days, accompanied by a request to detain them until the end of the proceedings.
