The Israel Police have completed their preparations for the celebration of Rabbi Meir Baal HaNes in the city of Tiberias, which will take place on Thursday and Friday, 30.04–01.05.2026.
As part of the preparations and in light of the expected heavy traffic, the following roads will be closed to vehicle traffic, starting Thursday at 3:00 PM until Friday at 2:00 PM:
▪️ Highway 90 – from Kinneret Colony Square to HaBanim Street in Tiberias.
▪️ Highway 90 – from HaBanim Street to Guy Beach.
▪️ Route 7677 – from the Swiss Forest junction to the hostel junction (Route 90).
For the benefit of the public participating in the celebration, the Guy Beach and Tzemach Beach parking lots will be arranged as parking lots for the benefit of the celebration attendees, from which shuttles will be operated to the Rabbi Meir Baal HaNes Zion Complex and back.
The police are calling on the driving public to obey the instructions of the police and marshals, to avoid coming to the area unnecessarily, and to use alternative routes.
