It is strictly forbidden to enter flowing riverbeds on foot or by vehicle until the water level has completely dropped. This is a danger to life!
It is forbidden to approach the edge of a stream during a flood for fear of the bank collapsing.
Heavy rain is expected in the coming hours, which could cause flooding in the rivers of the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea and disruption to traffic routes in the area.
Accordingly, blockages are expected on Highway 90 - on the section of the road between Ein Gedi and the Neve Zohar intersection.
