In the afternoon, a report was received at the ZAKA 1220 hotline about a man in his 70s who was found in the courtyard of a residential building in Kiryat Ata, in a state of decay.
Northern District ZAKA volunteers were called to the scene and worked at the scene, treating the deceased with dignity and collecting the remains.
Yitzhak Brickman, a volunteer at the Northern District ZAKA, said: "This is a man who was found in the yard of a residential building. A neighbor in the building, who smelled a bad smell, called the emergency services.".
