Tonight, during an operational activity by fighters from the Central Border Police Localities Branch in the Sharon area, together with police officers from the Kfar Saba and Tira stations, a report was received of a stolen vehicle traveling in the area of the Neve Yamin intersection toward one of the checkpoints in the region.
The fighters and police identified the suspicious vehicle and began operational surveillance, while transmitting regular reports and preparing for blockades in the area.
During the chase, the suspect broke through a police checkpoint, climbed onto spikes and fled towards the city of Tira, where another checkpoint was set up. When the vehicle stopped, the fighters arrested the suspect.

An inspection revealed that the vehicle was stolen and that the suspected driver - a 22-year-old resident of Taiba - had never legally obtained a driver's license.
The suspect was arrested and transferred for further investigation to the Kfar Saba station.
