The body of a 63-year-old man was found in a cardboard box in a parking lot near an abandoned building on Moshe Becker Street in Rishon LeZion. ZAKA volunteers from the Shefelah region were called to the scene and are working on site to honor the deceased and collect the remains.
Police from the Rishon LeZion station and forensic personnel arrived at the scene and began collecting evidence.
The body will be taken for examination at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Abu Kabir for identification.

At this point, no criminal charges are being filed.
