The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated Hamas terrorists who were planning to carry out terrorist attacks, including a terrorist who participated in the murderous massacre on October 7.

Earlier this week, IDF forces in the Southern Command, under the direction of the Shin Bet, attacked and eliminated a terrorist cell from the Hamas terrorist organization who were planning to carry out terrorist attacks against IDF forces operating in the central Gaza Strip in the immediate future.

It can now be determined that the following were eliminated in the attack:

• Terrorist Hazem Rami Ali Aidi, commander of a cell in the Hamas terrorist organization that invaded the territory of the State of Israel in the murderous massacre on October 7.
• The terrorist Ibrahim Mansour, a platoon commander in the Hamas terrorist organization, who led numerous terrorist attacks against IDF forces throughout the fighting and was a central factor in building Hamas's strength and in attempts to rehabilitate it, in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
• The terrorist Maher Tantawi is a terrorist in the military intelligence unit of the Hamas terrorist organization.

Prior to the attacks, steps were taken to reduce the chance of harming civilians, including the use of precision weapons and aerial surveillance.
