At approximately 12:50, a report was received at the ZAKA hotline about the body of a 68-year-old man who was found in an apartment on Chen Street in the city of Arad, in an advanced state of decomposition, several days after his death.
ZAKA volunteers from the Negev Region - Arad team were called to the scene and are working on site to treat the deceased with dignity and collect the remains.
Saar Shechory and Yosef Haim Elendaf, ZAKA volunteers from the Arad team: "This is a very difficult case of a person who was located after a long time. His caregivers, who were concerned after he did not contact them for several days, came to check on his condition and that is where the difficult case was discovered. When we arrived at the scene, we encountered a complex scene. Despite the proximity to the start of Shabbat, ZAKA volunteers from the Arad team are working on the scene to preserve the dignity of the deceased and collect the remains.""
