The rise in the average standard of living in the People's Republic of China has brought more and more Chinese companies to the market that produce premium products under the "cheap Chinese" product we have become accustomed to.
The mobile market is one of the areas where this trend is particularly evident: giant companies are emerging one after another, presenting products that compete with the flagship devices of well-known companies.
One of the most promising projects in recent times is the company OnePlus. The company, based in Beijing, presented its product in two categories, compared to all the premium Chinese companies that have emerged: the mid-market, mid-range devices at extremely cheap prices; and the flagship device market, which OnePlus offers at a relatively low price.
The OnePlus One, launched and announced on the company's website last night, is the pinnacle of technology. The OnePlus One features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 chip, the new quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.
This processor is more powerful and faster than most competing flagship devices. The battery is also more powerful than its sisters from competing companies, as it has a capacity of 3,100mAh.
The device also has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
OnePlus One supports all known communication methods, including Dual Band WiFi, and 4G LTE along with Bluetooth 4.0.
And now for the really important question: the price.
As the company promised, the device can be obtained at an affordable price (consider proportions) - starting at 299$. It should be noted that this price is even lower than the latest 'Nexus' device, which is considered a 'status symbol' of cheapness.
The price of the expensive version will be 349$ (before taxes).
The device can be ordered in two memory versions (16 and 64), and in a variety of colors.
