United Hatzalah medical teams today (Wednesday) provided first aid and saved the life of a 40-year-old woman who developed a life-threatening allergic reaction in the Bukharim neighborhood of Jerusalem.
Israel Horwitz, a senior paramedic at United Hatzalah, who injected her with an EpiPen: "The lady developed an acute and severe allergic reaction that threatened her life. I injected her with an EpiPen - an automatic injector used to inject a measured amount of adrenaline, and after her condition stabilized, she was evacuated to continue receiving treatment at a hospital.".
