The Southern District Attorney's Office filed an indictment with the District Court against Mundar Badir (48) from Kafr Qassem for involvement in smuggling prohibited goods into the Gaza Strip.

The indictment indicates that Badir was involved in smuggling various goods into the Strip, including cartons of cigarettes, tobacco, generators, and more, amounting to millions of shekels per truck. According to the indictment, Badir served as a central figure in the smuggling network: as an intermediary between the parties, a trader, a guarantor for transactions, and even as an "operator" who managed the relationship between the suppliers and the smugglers and coordinated with elements on the Gaza side.

Badir is accused of aiding the enemy in time of war, receiving something by fraud under aggravated circumstances, dealing in property for terrorist purposes, and other offenses.
