Amidst the security and economic challenges, the demand for immigration continues: In the past week, about 50 new immigrants from North America immigrated to Israel.
According to data from the Ministry of Immigration and Absorption and the Nefesh B'Nefesh organization, since the beginning of 2026, more than 540 new immigrants from the US and Canada have arrived in Israel.
At the same time, over 4,100 immigration files have been opened so far for Jews from North America.
The data also shows that since Independence Day last year, over 3,900 new immigrants from across the US and Canada have immigrated to Israel, with many of them working in the fields of medicine, education, and entrepreneurship.
