The chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, MK Boaz Bismuth, was attacked this evening (Friday night) with shouts from dozens of yeshiva students on King Shlomo Street in Bnei Brak.
The rioters shouted "criminal, traitor, murderer." He was rescued by his security guards.
Bismuth responded: "The common denominator between the extremists in Bnei Brak and the Kaplan and leftist extremists who attacked me in the past is the understanding that the conscription law will pass and lead to the conscription of Haredim. I will continue fearlessly in promoting the law.".
