Israel Police personnel data indicate a significant decrease in police resignations at five central stations since the appointment of National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, compared to 2022 during the term of former Minister Amar Bar Lev.
The year 2022, a wave of resignations:
Tel Aviv District, 150 police officers resigned
Jerusalem District, 120 police officers resigned
Petah Tikva District, 13 police officers resigned
Lod District, 9 police officers resigned
Glilot Yarkon District, 13 police officers resigned
The years 2023-2025, a sharp decline in resignations:
On average, there was a significant decrease in the years 2023-2025:
Tel Aviv District, 84 police officers resigned (a decrease of approximately 44%)
Jerusalem District, 83 police officers resigned (a decrease of approximately 31%)
Petah Tikva District, 5 police officers resigned (a decrease of approximately 62%)
Lod District, 4 police officers resigned (a decrease of approximately 56%)
Glilot Yarkon District, 5 police officers resigned (a decrease of approximately 62%)
