The Carrefour chain, in collaboration with the Pithon Lev organization, played a significant role in the charity campaign "Journey with the Heart", in which approximately 23,000 food baskets were distributed to needy families across the country in preparation for Passover.
As part of the campaign, emphasis was also placed on the Haredi sector, and approximately 6,000 families from the Haredi sector in the cities of Bnei Brak, Beit Shemesh, Arad, Harish, Jerusalem, Yerucham, Ashdod, Safed, Tiberias, Yavneil and Netanya received food baskets in preparation for the holiday, along with the donation of refrigerators in the cities of Beitar Illit and Modi'in Illit, with the aim of ensuring that even during this complex period, no homes will be left without a basic solution.
The collaboration between Carrefour and Pethon Lev expresses a true mutual guarantee, connecting large-scale social action with the immediate need on the ground, a need that continues to be felt even after the holiday.
