Wizz Air announced today (Tuesday) the suspension of its flights to and from Israel until May 4th.
This is after last Friday the Hungarian low-cost giant announced the advance of its return to Israel by two days, starting on April 25, with the first route that was to open between Israel and Budapest.
Now it appears that these plans have been shelved due to tensions in the region and uncertainty over the continuation of the campaign with Iran.
The Emirati airline Etihad Airways is expected to resume its operations in Israel tomorrow and operate an air route from Abu Dhabi to Ben Gurion Airport and back.
In a statement issued by Etihad last week, it was stated that the resumption of operations would be "at this stage in the format of two daily flights" to and from Abu Dhabi.
