The 'Bennett 2026' party sent a warning letter this evening (Sunday) before filing a lawsuit against the Likud Party and 'Melukdim News', for publishing defamation against the party's candidate, Karen Turner.

The party clarified: "The Turner Foundation was never a member of the 'Brothers in Arms' organization and was never involved, in any way, in the call for refusal. After October 7, the Civilian Task Force was established, which assisted tens of thousands of civilians, soldiers and reservists when the state's systems collapsed, and it did not engage in politics but rather received support from all sides of the political spectrum for its sacred work during Israel's difficult moments. We will not allow Likud to spread false poison, we will defeat the poison machine and fix Israel.".

The Likud issued a harsh statement against Bennett after he announced Turner's joining the ranks of his emerging party.

The Likud chose to focus the fire on the identity of the new joiner, who previously served as director general of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Transportation.

""Bennett's true face was revealed once again today when he added Karen Turner from Brothers in Arms to his party," the Likud statement said.

The party harshly attacked the organization, claiming that it was "an organization that encouraged resistance in the IDF, thereby weakening Israel and harming our security.".

""Don't say you didn't know. As he did last time, this time too Bennett will form a government with the left and the Muslim Brotherhood.".
