Director General of the Ministry of Transportation, Moshe Ben-Zaken: "We worked to provide a response around the clock, and in accordance with Minister Regev's policy to maintain open skies, Operation Shabbat for Israelis was crowned a success while meeting its goals. The Alon Command operated efficiently and professionally and provided a response to exceptions and humanitarian cases in full cooperation with the teams of the Ministry of Transportation and the airlines.".

Commander of the Alon Command, Col. Sheila Adler: "Operation 'Horse Wings' proved that it is possible to keep the lifelines open as much as possible under fire. This is how more than a quarter of a million Israelis returned to and from Israel.
