Golani Brigade fighters are operating with force inside southern Lebanon: The IDF published at noon (Monday) special data and documentation from the focused ground activity of the brigade combat team, which operates under the command of the 36th Division to expand the security area in the north.
According to an IDF spokesman, Golani forces have so far destroyed more than 300 Hezbollah terror infrastructures.
The operations were carried out with a combination of air and ground forces, and included the destruction of weapons depots, booby-trapped structures intended to harm our forces, and enemy locations in the heart of the built-up area.
During the searches, the forces located more than 10 underground shafts that Hezbollah terrorists used to hide and transport weapons.
In addition, hundreds of pieces of weaponry were seized, including launchers, rockets, and advanced combat equipment intended for carrying out raids on Galilee settlements.
During the fighting, Golani fighters killed dozens of terrorists in face-to-face encounters and by directing air strikes.
The activity focuses on the systematic dismantling of the infrastructure that Hezbollah has built over the years along the border.
