Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video this evening (Saturday) with documentation of the attack on the petrochemical plants in Iran today - and confirmed that Israel attacked them.
""I promised you that we would continue to crush the terrorist regime in Tehran, so that's exactly what we're doing. After we destroyed 70% of their steel production capabilities, which they use as material to make weapons against us, today we attacked their petrochemical plants.".
""These two things are their money machine to finance the war on terror against us and against the entire world. We will continue to crush them as I promised. We are ready for joy.".

Later, an IDF spokesman announced that the Air Force, under the direction of the Intelligence Directorate and in cooperation with the Anti-Terrorism Directorate, attacked infrastructure at the petrochemical complex responsible for the production and export of chemical materials to the armed forces subordinate to the regime in Maheshwar in southwestern Iran.
As part of the attacks, a site was attacked where one of two central infrastructures was established that was used to produce materials for explosives, ballistic missiles, and other weapons. The site is one of the main sites where necessary material for ballistic missiles is produced.
""The attack on this infrastructure will disrupt the regime's ability to use materials produced in the factory to produce various types of weapons intended to harm the State of Israel and other countries in the Middle East. The completed attacks are part of the phase of deepening the damage to the core structures of the Iranian terrorist regime and its foundations.".
