The IDF estimates that within about a week, the military mission of stationing itself on the "anti-tank line" in Lebanon, about eight kilometers from the Israeli border, will be completed.

The goal of stationing on the "anti-tank line" is to prevent the possibility of anti-tank missile fire at northern settlements.

According to a report by Roy Sharon this evening (Thursday) on 'Kan News', the political echelon will also discuss the next stage, and the possibility of Israel holding the security strip through permanent posts, or another defense method that does not include a physical presence inside Lebanese territory.
