Artist and composer Yehuda Weinberg launched a new single ahead of Passover - "And We Shouted.".
The song focuses on one of the powerful moments in the Haggadah: "And we cried out to the Lord, the God of our fathers, and the Lord heard our voice.".
Weinberg's new melody gives expression to the inner cry of every Jew, transforming the ancient text into a personal and touching prayer.
The choice of these words comes from a special tradition, according to which the moment of saying "Vantzek" at the Seder is a rare sacred time for salvations beyond nature. "This song is a call to stop everything in this special moment of the Seder, and to pray from the bottom of our hearts for complete redemption," says Weinberg.
