One month into Operation Harry's Roar: The Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Maj. Gen. Amir Baram, held a discussion to assess the situation and draw lessons with the CEOs of the defense industries - Rafael, Israel Aerospace Industries, Elbit Systems and Tomer.
In the discussion, which was also attended by senior Defense Ministry officials, the participants reviewed the many actions taken to accelerate production in industries and support the longevity and continuity of the IDF's functioning.
The CEO told the heads of industries: "We are full of appreciation for your full mobilization. The defense industries have been working at a record pace since day one, in 2 and 3 shifts a day. The unique ecosystem of its kind in the world - of the IDF, the industries and the Ministry of Defense, enables the production and transfer of weapons from the production line to the battlefield within hours, while drawing lessons and making daily improvements.
