
El Al announced today (Wednesday) that following the restrictions on activity at Ben Gurion Airport and in accordance with Home Front Command guidelines, flights scheduled to depart next week - between March 21 and 27, to a large number of destinations will be canceled.
This is about 25,000 tickets that were canceled.
List of destinations to be canceled: Tbilisi, Budapest, Zurich, Barcelona, Belgrade, Berlin, Boston, Batumi, Fort Lauderdale, Frankfurt, Heraklion, Krakow, Larnaca, London Luton, Lyon, Marseille, Bucharest, Paphos, Prague, Chisinau, Thessaloniki, Sofia, Salzburg, Podgorica, Tirana, Tivat, Venice, Vienna.
The company noted that regarding additional destinations that do not appear on the list, updates will be provided later - in accordance with developments and instructions from official authorities.
El Al also noted that at this stage, due to existing restrictions, it is not possible to offer alternative flights to passengers whose flights have been canceled.
Passengers are offered the option of receiving a full refund or a credit voucher to be used on future El Al flights.
