New documents released today (Saturday) from Iran indicate renewed protests against the regime.

According to a report on the Iran International channel, which is affiliated with the regime's opponents, students demonstrated at several universities in Tehran to mark the 40th day of the events of January 8 and 9, which are considered the deadliest days in the suppression of nationwide protests in Iran.

At Amir Kabir University, students blocked one of the nearby streets. At the same time, at Sharif University, students held a protest ceremony in memory of those killed in the previous wave of demonstrations.

Against the backdrop of preparations for an attack on Iran, President Massoud Pazakhian said in an interview with state television: "We will not bow our heads to the pressure of the world powers.".

Yesterday, President Trump stated in a speech that 32,000 people had been killed in protests in Iran. This is the first time the US government has confirmed the number of deaths in protests.

Referring to talks with Iran, he said: "It's better for them to negotiate a fair deal." "The people of Iran are very different from the Iranian leadership. I feel bad for the people of Iran who are living in hell.".
