During a heated debate that took place today (Wednesday) in the Knesset plenum, a commotion arose following harsh words said by Labor MK Naama Lazimi from the rostrum.
Lazimi attacked the coalition and the prime minister - saying: "Our prime minister is the head of the criminal organization called Likud. He is the head of a criminal organization - and you are a bunch of criminals who allow themselves to break the law.".
The statement drew angry reactions from Knesset members from the coalition, who called for interim measures against her and demanded the intervention of the yeshiva chairman.

Her speech was interrupted and MK Yaakov Margi ordered her removed from the podium: "Take her off the podium - you will not call the Prime Minister the head of a criminal organization. You are a thug!".
Minister Amichai Shikli, who came up to give a speech, said in response: "Shame on Migdal HaEmek, anarchist.".
