Violence strikes in District 3 in Ashdod: Two children aged 11-12, residents of District 3 in Ashdod, take their revenge on the local ultra-Orthodox children - and the parents are helpless.
According to a report on the Ashdods website, yesterday the two beat a girl and another child was robbed.
""A girl here in the neighborhood was beaten in a humiliating manner that included pulling her hair. My son came home in tears after being robbed by them. It wasn't a lot of money, but this abusive interaction alone traumatized him," the parent said.
A complaint will be filed with the police this morning. "I'm in Jerusalem for a family celebration, but there's no escape. I'm going back to Ashdod, I'll go with my son to the police station and file a complaint. It's impossible to leave the current, unbearable situation as it is.".
The police and residents face a difficult challenge in eradicating the phenomenon due to the fact that minors are involved. "I am aware of the difficulty," said the father. "But I trust the police to do their job for the safety of the neighborhood's children. It cannot be that because minors are involved - the boys and girls in the neighborhood will grow up with traumas and fears and be afraid to walk around in public spaces alone. We must eradicate the phenomenon.".
