In his last position, he served as the Prime Minister's spokesman, and in this role he managed the communications system of the Prime Minister and the Prime Minister's Office, including media responsibility for all of its security organizations.

Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir: "Dr. Dostry has rich experience and great professionalism in the fields of communications and management in large systems. I am certain that he will best express the policies and many actions being taken in the ministry, with an emphasis on strengthening governance and the fight against crime.".

Director General Rafael Engel: "I am delighted with the selection of Dr. Dostri for the position. Along with the members of the committee, I was very impressed by his professionalism and extensive experience, and I am certain that he will be able to lead the ministry's communications and spokespersons system very successfully.".

Dostri left the Prime Minister's Office last July, amid allegations of a troubled relationship with the Prime Minister's wife, Sara Netanyahu. The Prime Minister's Office, for its part, categorically denied the claim, but admitted that the departure was due to a lack of compatibility between the parties.
