Tamir Morag, Channel 14's political correspondent, is a generous man. That's probably why he decided to give Channel 12 some advice - absolutely for free.
In a post he published on social media, Morag wrote: "I don't know who is running the event for News 12, but out of pity, and also knowing that they are too arrogant to listen, I will give them some free advice.".
He said, "For about three years you have been trying to kill Channel 14 not through competition, but through a wild campaign of delegitimization. In these three years, all you have achieved is that the gap between the channels has narrowed, until we have reached the current point where we threaten your hegemony.".
""Instead of drawing rational conclusions and changing your coverage, you chose to double the stakes and embark on a new campaign of defamation and delegitimization. And most bizarrely: you chose to try to fight us in the arena of 'who helps the enemy more.'".
""For us, that's perfectly fine," he added. "After about three years, the vast majority of which were during the State of Israel's war for existence, in which you turned yourself into a sounding board for Abu Ubaydah and the Qatari royal family, we have no problem fighting you on this field.".
Morag attached to the post Channel 12's announcement about the first interview with the Prime Minister of Qatar - and listed Channel 12's publications: "The blood libel from the Yemeni field, the fake-hunger campaign in the Gaza Strip, the massacre of Gazan civilians that did not happen in the hospital, the poisonous poison campaign against Ron Dermer, the constant calls for surrender and losing the war.".
He said, "From Gaza to Tehran, there is not a single terrorist who would not claim that you are the biggest servants of the enemy in the Israeli media.
""If you continue like this - you will disappear. The viewers will continue to abandon you and move to us, not only because you work in the service of the enemies of Israel, but because you are transmitting to them over and over again that you are simply sure that they are stupid.".
He ended with advice: Take stock of yourself and compete fairly with Channel 14. "I know you won't listen to it, and I'm happy about that.".
