Yaakov Wider sharply attacks Yoaz Hendel for comparing crime in Rahat to Bnei Brak: "To the residents of Bnei Brak""
Yaakov Wider, a member of the Bnei Brak City Council, sharply attacked Yoaz Hendel this evening (Sunday) following an outrageous comparison he made between Bnei Brak and Rahat and crime in Arab society - which was said in the Negev.
""You are a liar, an instigator and a fascist - apologize to the residents of Bnei Brak," said Wider.
The Reservists Party, led by Hendel, held a press conference today at the Ramat Negev Regional Council, centered on the unveiling of a plan to restore governance, which includes a broad reform of the law enforcement system.
Hendel said: "Our governance plan was created from the ground. This situation cannot continue. There are seeds of disaster here, there is a policy of containment, there is no governance, there are only empty words. In a reformed country, there is governance everywhere. What is happening today is no governance in Bnei Brak and no governance in Rahat.".
Vider attacked: "This is a blatant lie and incitement - Bnei Brak is one of the safest cities in Israel, with murder, robbery and theft rates among the lowest in the country. At the same time, the city's residents lead in kindness and mutual aid rates among the highest in Israel.".
Wieder added: "As a reservist, I say to Handel - shame on you for bearing my name - I and my friends bring Haredim closer to the IDF and integration into Israeli society, and people like you keep them away. Shame on you, I'm waiting for an apology from you, both as a reservist and as a resident of Bnei Brak.".
