The construction of Highway 45 - the strategic road that will connect Binyamin to Highway 443 - is underway: work is expected to begin in the coming weeks, after the project received the building permit and work start order this week.
This is another significant achievement as part of the road revolution led by the Binyamin Regional Council in recent years, with the aim of improving accessibility, safety and quality of life for the region's residents.
The project, which was budgeted at approximately 400 million NIS, is considered one of the most significant infrastructure projects in Binyamin.

According to the plan, the new road will connect East Binyamin to Highway 443, shortening travel times from Binyamin Gate to the center of the country to only about 15 minutes. The move is expected to reduce traffic congestion, improve traffic continuity, and strengthen the transportation connection between Binyamin and the center of the country.
Highway 45 joins a series of large-scale transportation projects currently underway throughout Binyamin. Currently, about 100 engineering vehicles are operating on dozens of kilometers of Highways 60 and 437, in the section between the Hizma checkpoint and the British police area. At the same time, work is progressing on the Qalandiya subsidence project, a transportation axis that is expected to revolutionize transportation in the entire area and change traffic patterns in the area.
In addition, last week, the Binyamin Crossing Highway - 465, a major traffic artery that has been defined for years as a safety risk, was illuminated for the first time. The installation of the lighting is a significant response to improving road safety and is expected to save lives.
