An unusual confrontation occurred yesterday (Monday) at the Wroclaw Zoo in Poland, between a small Chinese ram and a rhinoceros weighing almost two tons.
The video, which went viral on social media, was filmed by a zookeeper, who documented the ram, which weighs only about 23 kilograms, confronting a rhinoceros weighing about 1.7 tons head-on.

This feisty mini-deer keeps headbutting a rhino that's 100x his size. The rhino's reaction?
Pure zen. Gotta love zoo life 😂 pic.twitter.com/C97CxEr0T8
The incident documents the tiny ram charging at the rhino, striking it with its horn. The rhino responds by shaking its head from side to side, and later even responds with a charge of its own, but retreats after another strike from the ram - who appears to be chasing it.
According to the zoo's explanation, the deer was trying to defend its territory, while the rhinoceros treated the incident as a game and did not show aggression.
In a follow-up video, published a few days later, the ram, the rhinoceros, and the ram's mate are seen eating hay together, indicating that relations between the parties remain normal.
