In a unique training series and in complex terrain conditions: Forces of the operational 'Alpinist' unit at the foot of Mount Hermon
The forces of the "Alpinists" reserve unit have completed a unique training series, which is designed to prepare the unit's forces for operational activity in extreme weather in the "Crown of Mount Hermon" in Syria.
As part of the training series, the unit's fighters practiced operating in complex and mountainous terrain conditions, using the unit's unique means for operating in extreme weather conditions and in snowy conditions.
In recent days, the unit's forces joined forces from the "Mountain" Brigade for the defense mission in the "Crown of Mount Hermon", in parallel with the defense in the Golan Heights sector, with the aim of enabling the proper opening of the Mount Hermon site to visitors.
