The tune was composed by Rabbi Yankel Talmud, z"l, and is known as the Nigun Gur. The lyrics were written by Rabbi Mordechai Baruch Blumenthal, head of the poets at the Sanz court.
The song first broke into hearts during the second round of the Sanz, when the entire audience jumped and danced, repeating the song over and over again out of joy and awakening to the glory of Torah.
Shruli, who has become a popular and well-known figure on music stages and weddings across London, decided to release the hit to the general public - one that will make many dance floors jump and make people happy everywhere possible.
