Engelsman arrived at the scene with his family and Rabbi Tal Gomberg, Chabad emissary to Ichilov, and sought to express solidarity and support following the event that sparked a public outcry.
After the visit, Engelsman published the photo and wrote: "We came to take a picture with the candles that were secretly extinguished by an anti-Semitic, cowardly Arab woman. No one will extinguish the people of Israel. And all our enemies must be erased. The people of Israel lives!""
