Singer Haim Alter is embarking on a solo career, and is launching a debut music video - "For Haim Chanukah," in which he hosts two of the most respected figures in the Hasidic music industry: Aharla Samet and Haim Pollak.
Haim Alter, until recently one of the senior members of the Malchut Choir, chooses to begin his solo career with a unique Hanukkah rosary, in which he combines a series of songs from Hanukkah hits, for the rosary "Lechaim Hanukkah." The innovative arrangement was entrusted to his brother, the arranger and Malchut Choir member Yedla Alter.
The rosary begins with Hershey Weinberger's "Blachten", continues through "Hanerot Hallu" by Dodi Kalisch, moves on to the special version of Vizhnitz, which was first revealed from the nostalgic work of Rabbi Yitzhak Unger, z"l, when performed by Haim Pollak with the warmth and presentation of Vizhnitz, continues with the special welding of the words "exposed" to the song "Mame Rachel" by Mordechai Ben David, and ends with Moshe Oysher's rhythmic and nostalgic song "Aguten Chanukah", originally performed by Shalom Lemar.
