Avi Marciano, the father of Noa Marciano, said in a video posted today (Wednesday) by pro-Israel activist Shai Deluca on Instagram that he learned of his daughter's death in Hamas captivity from a video sent to him on Telegram.

""Noa is begging for her life," Marciano said, "and at the end of the video she is sweating, but she is lifeless.".

In the video attached to the post, Marciano explains: "In the recording that was sent to me, she (Noa) said that they were being bombed. She talked about our family and asked that 'stop bombing because you could hurt us.'" As the forces approached Noa, they decided to flee her to the center of Gaza City. While fleeing, the IDF bombed them and Noa was hit in the leg and head, but not with a life-threatening injury. She was then evacuated to Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
""At the hospital, one of the medical personnel decided to murder her and injected air into her vein, thus essentially murdering her. I received news of Noa's murder when a video was sent to me via Telegram in which Noa begs for her life, and at the end of the video there is a segment in which Noa is seen up close, still sweating but lifeless.
""After that, they tried to smuggle Noa out of the hospital, and IDF forces were there following intelligence information. Only after a week were we able to bring Noa to be buried in Israel, in Modi'in," he said in tears.
""What I went through is the biggest nightmare I know a human being can go through. To this day, there are many mornings that I wake up with this video. Noa was my eldest daughter whom I loved so much, and there is not a moment of the day that I don't miss her.".
Noa Marciano, 19, from the city of Modi'in, served as an observer at the Nahal Oz base and was kidnapped on October 7. She was one of the observers who were kidnapped from the base. Her body was found in November 2023 by IDF fighters in a building near Shifa Hospital, and was brought for burial in Israel.
