Baruch Dayan, the truth teller: In Gateshead, England, the late Rabbi Shlomo Steinhuz, rector of the 'Tiferet Yaakov' yeshiva in Gateshead, passed away suddenly today (Wednesday), at the age of 77.
The deceased, zt"l, was in the middle of preparing for the daily lesson when he suddenly collapsed. The rescue forces called to the scene performed CPR, but to the dismay of his family and students, he passed away.
The Hararsh has served as the rabbi of the Tiferet Yaakov Yeshiva in Gateshead since its establishment - and behind him are decades of teaching Torah to his students.
This is the second tragedy in the yeshiva in the past year: in the month of Tammuz, Rabbi Moshe Chaim Diner, zt"l, the yeshiva's supervisor, passed away at the age of 48 after an illness.
