Earlier, the Prime Minister's Office issued a strong response to the Islamic Jihad announcement, which claimed that artifacts related to the body of one of the kidnapped people had been found.

The bureau's announcement states that Israel views the delay in handing over the findings to the state as a serious violation of the agreement.

The bureau also stated: "Israel demands the immediate return of the three deceased hostages still being held in the Gaza Strip.".

Al-Jazeera reported yesterday that the body of a kidnapped person was recovered from the northern Nussirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. According to the report, these are the remains of a kidnapped person who was being held there by the military wing of Islamic Jihad.

Terrorist organizations in Gaza are holding three hostages: Dror Or, Ran Guili, and Sudthisak Rinthalak.

Major General Ran Guili, a fighter in the Negev Infantry Regiment, was kidnapped after being killed in battle at Kibbutz Alumim on October 7. Guili, 24 years old at the time of his death, left the hospital to assist under fire and was wounded. Shortly thereafter, contact with him was lost. On January 31, 2024, it was announced that he had fallen in battle and was classified as a kidnapped casualty.

Dror Or, a 48-year-old chef from Bari, was kidnapped from his home along with his three children Alma and Noam and his nephew Liam. His wife Yonath, the 48-year-old, was murdered. His children were released in the hostage deals. On May 2, Kibbutz Bari reported that he was murdered on the day of the attack and that his body was being held by Hamas.

Sutthisak Rintlak, a farm worker from Thailand, was kidnapped while working in the plantations in Bari. He was murdered on October 7th and his body is being held by Hamas. Rintlak came to Israel in 2017 to support his family in Thailand.
