Yaakov Wider, a member of the Bnei Brak City Council and chairman of the Likud faction, revealed disturbing findings at a recent city council meeting.
Wider claims that, according to the data, in the last quarter, 166 new employees suddenly appeared in the municipal system - without qualifications or permits, with the cost of these jobs estimated at 26.4 million shekels, all from public funds.

In addition, the Bnei Brak municipality entered a deep deficit of approximately 65 million shekels, as a result of, according to him, failed management of the municipal treasury.
Wieder sharply attacked the municipal conduct and confronted Mayor Hanoch Seibert - who even ordered Wieder removed from the council chamber.
Vider attacked: "Is this your father's money? Your mother's? How dare you take the money of the residents of Bnei Brak for the benefit of unknown municipal employees - you claim to be representatives of the great men of Israel, show me one rabbi who allowed you to steal from the residents of Bnei Brak.".
Seibert demanded that the microphone be turned off and that Weider be removed from the council chamber, but Weider refused and continued: "You are well-organized, with beautiful jeeps, beautiful apartments, your children and family are organized - and the residents should finance your job celebrations.".
