A 14-year-old boy from Jerusalem was arrested on suspicion of attacking the vehicle of MK Yoav Ben-Zur of the Shas party.

Police arrested a 14-year-old boy from Jerusalem last night (Saturday night) on suspicion of assaulting MK Yoav Ben-Zur of Shas and causing damage to his car.

Ben Tzur was attacked last week by ultra-Orthodox extremists in the Bukharim neighborhood of Jerusalem, who oppose the draft law that is being formulated - who smashed the windows of his car.

The suspect was taken for questioning at the Lev Habira police station in the Jerusalem district.

According to the police, investigators "continue to work to complete the investigation and locate additional suspects who were involved in the act, while continuing to collect findings and testimonies.".

""This is a serious case in which criminal elements attempted to harm an elected official, and all means at the police's disposal will be used to bring all those involved to justice.".
